The Colors of a Diamonds

The color plays a significant role in determining the diamonds price.

In general, diamonds can be traditional white or colorless, and there

are diamonds of fancy colors, e.g. blue, pink, yellow, black, red. Colorless

diamonds that are facing up and extremely white are very rare and expensive.

White or tinted white diamonds with different types of fluorescence are

considered classical and are very popular. Tinted yellow diamonds are

quite common and quite affordable, and are the best choice for those who

prefer size over color. Colored diamonds are very stylish. Some of them

are rare and thus highly valued. Experts distinguish between each rare

colors, e.g. mysterious blue, lavender sable, canary yellow, chocolate

beaver, dark oranges, vivid pink. Rare colors show the refined taste of

the owner and will draw the attention of everyone, and that is why these

may have the highest price per carat.
