Loose Diamonds Price

Loose diamonds can have various prices which are based upon several factors.

First of all the 4Cs (carat, cut, color, clarity) are important. If you

understand these criteria you can be confident that you’ll buy the diamonds

at the best price. The cut determines a diamond’s brilliance, the price

is higher when a diamond’s cut is better. The color scale generally evaluates

the internal tint of a diamond. Colorless diamonds are the most valued.

External blemishes that are evaluated by a qualified gemologist are defined

as the clarity. Whilst a carat is a measure of weight. It is no wonder

that small diamonds of several points are less expensive. All diamonds

should have a certificate which contains the diamond’s individual characteristics

that make up its value. Laboratories for certification perform an examination

and a grading of diamonds. The most noted is GIA – the Gemological Institute

of America.
